Everything about Eddie’s little cape was perfect! The fenced-in yard for our dog was fabulous, super clean interior, plenty of space, nice walkable neighborhood with a park around the corner, plenty of starter supplies, great covered portico to park our cars under, and a super responsive host! We will be back:)

Eddie was an amazing host! Always responsive and checked in to make sure everything went well on our check in day. The house was SPARKLING CLEAN and had everything needed to feel at home. Since we went in March weren’t able to do water activities, but I can only imagine how great it is in the summer to have access to a lake in your backyard! We plan to come back, but next time in the summer. Such a great place, HIGHLY recommend!

Very cute and spacious! A fun winter retreat. The house had lots of extra things to make it more fun, like games and puzzles to help keep us entertained. I can imagine it would be even more fun in the summer or fall with the lake.

Our stay at the Long Lake property was simply amazing. From the privacy of the location, the breathtaking view (even with frozen lake) to the personal touches of the interior design. This Airbnb had a very warm and welcome feel and I don’t think we could’ve picked a better place for our mini Family Vacation. It fit me, my husband and our four kids comfortably. The kids loved playing with the legos and perusing the many books and magazines about Maine and mom & dad loves having coffee on the back deck! Although we’ve lived in this state for 5 years, staying here this weekend was like we were discovering Maine for the first time all over again. We will definitely return to place for the summer!

Eddie was an excellent host. We had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the house was beautiful. The host thought of everything that could be needed from stuff for dogs to extra bedding. We loved the location with the water views. It was a wonderful place to stay in winter and I can only imagine it would be even better in the summer. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and would love to stay again.

I hesitate to write a 5 star review because we loved the place so much, there's part of me that wishes we could keep this rare find to ourselves. As a host, Eddie was fantastic. He reached out proactively, provided helpful recommendations, and was always available to answer questions. As a location to have a cozy kickback vacation with the family, The Dome couldn't be more perfect. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out yet, the design and nature of The Dome, always brought us back together in front of the fireplace, the rocking chair view of the the lake, or the dining/game table. If you have musical instruments and enjoy playing with your group, the acoustics are special. As mentioned in other reviews, one note for future guests, you will doubt yourself on the drive in. Take your time, follow the directions, and enjoy the remoteness of the single lane treck by the lake and through the woods.

Amazing stay! The house was exactly what we were looking for. The view was absolutely breathtaking and it felt right at home. Eddie was helpful and responsive when we had questions.

If want a place that create dreams. This is the place. My wife and I enjoyed this cabin so much. The little town was just far enough away to make you feel like you were in paradise. Loved everything about our stay !!
