The location is peaceful, beautiful and very convenient for those heading to Acadia National Park. Nearby Ellsworth also has a lot to offer for restaurants, breweries, and other shops. The cabin is very clean and comfortable, with rustic bones but modern comforts. The screened-in porch is the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning and watch the sunset over the lake at night. Eddie is a helpful and responsive host. I appreciated his proactive instructions for check in and check out, and it was all very easy. All of our interactions with staff and other guests were friendly. Toddy Pond is so clean, clear and refreshing, but make sure to bring water shoes to walk over the first few feet of rocks. Already looking forward to our next stay in this cozy and relaxing gem!

Adorable little bungalow cabin. We just needed a stopover for a night. There was even firewood there so we had a campfire and a relaxing night. Woke to the sound of water lapping against the rocks. So peaceful and enjoyable. Eddie was an excellent host and answered all my questions promptly.

We rented this beautiful house on the lake for our friends bachelorette weekend. We had an amazing time. Eddie was a great host! We had 8 girls and there was plenty of beds for all of us! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful lakefront property to stay.

We had such a great time in this cozy cabin! We enjoyed the lake and fire pit. Eddie was super responsive and helpful. Great location between Bangor and Bar Harbor.

Beautiful cabin at a beautiful location. We loved the privacy, not too close to anyone but not too far from the grocery store or other beautiful sites. The cabin is well kept and had all amenities you will need. The host was great. While I may not have messaged back much he was very proactive and checked up as much as he could. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great 3 nights here during our road trip and visit to Acadia. We especially liked being able to come back to such a peaceful place with kayaks and the ability to swim in the pond. On our last night, we bought live lobsters and cooked them in our cottage. We had everything we needed to have a great farewell dinner!

Eddie’s home was very comfortable for our family of 5 adults. We spent 4 of our days traveling - Chastine, Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and Acadia National Park, all within an hour travel time. After full days of travel we then chose to enjoy our stay in Dedham - kayaking, walking, chilling on the deck and ending with beautiful campfires. The home is private, peaceful, very clean and very welcoming. Eddie was so quick to respond when we asked any questions, even for simple vacationing information. This was our first visit to Maine and we loved it and so hope to revisit other areas for sure! It’s truly a beautiful state. Thank you Eddie for everything! Debbie & Steve

Beautiful setting, house was well stocked with every amenity we needed! Very clean, plenty of room for the 4 adults, 3 teenagers & our dog. 40 minutes to Bar Harbor & Acadia, 35 minutes to Bangor far enough away from all the tourists but close enough to make it a memorable trip! Centrally located between the places we visited, definitely will recommend to my family and friends who might be visiting that way. Eddie was very responsive within minutes & recommended places to go visit, thanks for having us we certainly enjoyed it!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Eddie’s house (2 families: 9 people, including 5 kids ages 6-12). This was a nice home-base to come back to after our Acadia adventures (but also don’t miss out on the observatory tower in Bucksport!)…making our trip feel easy & relaxed. We fished & paddled daily on the pond. Slept great in the clean comfy beds at night. The lower level living area (with a walkout to the pond) was great for our older dog to avoid stairs. Highly recommend!
