We really needed the Dome. It was the beginning of January so understandably very cold. Still absolutely breathtaking! We would recommend four wheel drive and snow tires because we drove ourselves into a snow bank and that was kind of a situation. Dome’s got plentiful amenities, full kitchen, fireplace, tv, laundry, etc. Also loved the distinct Maine flair of the decor and accoutrements. If we had died and become ghosts, we would have been content to haunt the property for eternity. Shoutout to housekeeper Tina for getting us back to the car when the roads got icy

Eddie was very responsive and everything was exactly as he had listed. Great area, very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely recommend and see if it’s available when we visit again.

We loved our stay at the lake house! It was extremely well equipped with a stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The house truly had everything we needed from pots and pans, basic seasonings, cleaning supplies, and more. Lots of fun things to do around the house for our children and beautiful surroundings. There were toys, puzzles, and plenty of board games to keep us entertained. The location was perfect, about a 30 minute drive to Bangor and 45 minute to Acadia/Bar Harbor. Eddie was an exceptional host who checked in regularly and responded quickly if we had a question. It was the perfect winter escape for these Floridians! I imagine the lake house would be incredible in the summer months with its lake access and use of kayaks. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Nice and clean home, quiet area. Comfortable beds. Host is very responsive. Entire home feels like home while you are there- well kept and cozy and not over cluttered. We had a welcome treat when we first entered this home. A christmas tree all lit up and decorated! This was a very personal touch that made us feel welcomed. I say this because we have been staying at rentals every year for years for the holidays and this is the first Christmas tree that has ever been provided for us. Well done!! I also want to give a shout out to the cleaning team. Well done and you are doing a great job! Thank you Edie and your team for letting us enjoy a "home away from home" for Christmas.

Our stay was wonderful! So peaceful and scenic with lots of great outdoor activities. There were so many amenities to truly make it feel like home. Eddie was so responsive and helpful, making our stay very comfortable. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a scenic, serene getaway anytime of year!

House was well suited to our needs for the time we spent there. Clean and homey feeling. Added bonus of dog bowls which was key because we forgot ours! Eddie provided directions for extra parking space when we needed it. Plenty of beds and spaces for all 6 of us.

Eddie’s place was beautiful. We got the opportunity to come out while the lake was frozen and it was snowy. The place is clean, large and beautiful. Eddie is really responsive and friendly.

This is a beautiful home and the location and view is unsurpassed. The home is well equipped very comfortable. Eddie is really fantastic. We had a significant snow storm over Christmas and Eddie was so helpful and responsive getting the driveway cleared.

Eddie’s place was so cozy. A perfect setting for our family’s Christmas getaway. Such a beautiful location. He was very responsive and communicated just the right amount to know he cared, but not too much. The rooms are tight and there are a lot of stairs, but we didn’t really spend much time in the rooms anyways. Not a huge living space, but we never felt cramped (and to his credit, the host clearly communicated all of this to me multiple ways before booking). If we ever get this way again we will definitely look to see if this place is available.
