Enjoy this unique cabin with a spacious waterfront in Orland, Maine. Relax in the shade of the towering pine tree grove, swim, kayak, picnic, fish, or sit back and relax with a view. When you want to explore, the cabin’s location is perfectly convenient to Bucksport, Ellsworth, Bangor, and Bar Harbor!

Good to know

This is a tiny cabin, 14x14ft wide. A king size bed takes up much of the room. The kitchenette is in the same space, including a small dining area. There is an attached and fully remodeled bathroom. The bathroom is small but equipped! Brand new stand up shower, toilet and vanity. Out the front door is a marvelous screened-in porch with another dining table. Outside, there is a 6 ft picnic table.

Orland is a small town in Downeast Maine. Right on the shores of Toddy Pond, you’re less than 20 minutes from many beautiful coastal Maine towns. Also, the cabin is conveniently located within 20 minutes of shopping centers like Walmart in Ellsworth and a 45 minute day trip to Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island, Maine's Acadia National Park, and the rest of Downeast Maine. About 45 minutes to Bangor International Airport.

Guest access

You have access to Blueberry Cabin, one of nine unique cabins at Getogether Stays. You have access to the water front of Toddy Pond. There are kayaks available for use and stairs down to the water where there is a small beach to enjoy. Guests have access to the entire cabin and all shared amenities of the resort. Enjoy a morning paddle on the pond with our complimentary kayaks, gather around the fire pit in the evening, or relax on the dock with a good book. Free parking is available on the premises. Remember to be kind and considerate of your cabin neighbors who are also there to enjoy the serenity of nature.

We stayed in the Blueberry Cabin and it was just as described in the listing. Parking was close enough not to use the loading area and the views were great. This was just the perfect place for a peaceful stay on the water.

We stayed in Blueberry Cottage which was clean, comfortable and exactly as shown. The view of the lake is a beautiful bonus. I strongly recommend this cabin for a couple looking to explore the area and or relax. A family member rented a different cabin so I was able to see inside it and enjoy the adjoining fire pit for a little bonfire. This cabin was also clean and comfortable. They have air conditioning and heat so what ever season you visit you can be comfortable inside. The screen in porches make it easy to be outside any time of the day. Eddie is an awesome host and responded quickly and gave very good instructions for an easy check in. As well as exact directions to the cabins and parking.. It simple to get into the cabin and lockup when we left. There are various cabins on the property, with good space in between , it's great for family groupings or groups of friends.

Find us

You'll want a car to explore any surrounding areas, but you also would have all you need to enjoy a week right at the cabin. This area of Maine does not have consistent rideshare service. If you need help with coordinating transportation, let me know ahead of time. This cabin will be permitted to have 1 car.
