A charming tiny lakeside cabin perfect for those seeking outdoor recreational adventures visiting Acadia National Park, a relaxing lake trip, or a true Maine historic cabin campground experience. Enjoy this unique cabin with a spacious waterfront in Orland, Maine. Relax in the shade of the towering pine tree grove, swim, kayak, picnic, fish, or sit back and relax with a view. When you want to explore, the cabin’s location is perfectly convenient to Bucksport, Ellsworth, Bangor, and Bar Harbor!

Good to know

This is a tiny cabin, 14x14ft wide. Inside the room is split by a half wall. A king size bed is on one half and a triple bunk bed on the other. The kitchenette is in the same space. There is an attached and fully remodeled bathroom. The bathroom is small but equipped! Brand new stand up shower, toilet and vanity. Out the front door is a marvelous screened in porch with another dining table. Outside, there is a 6 ft picnic table.

Fiddlehead Cabin is located in Orland, Maine. Right on the shores of Toddy Pond, you’re also less than 20 minutes from many beautiful coastal Maine towns and around 45 minutes to Acadia National Park.

Guest access

You have access to Fiddlehead Cabin, one of nine unique cabins at Getogether Stays. You have access to the waterfront of Toddy Pond. There are kayaks available for use and stairs down to the water where there is a small beach to enjoy. Guests have access to the entire cabin and all shared amenities of the resort. Enjoy a morning paddle on the pond with our complimentary kayaks, gather around the fire pit in the evening, or relax on the dock with a good book. Free parking is available on the premises. Remember to be kind and considerate of your cabin neighbors who are also there to enjoy the serenity of nature.

It was a great stay. Perfect for what we needed for the two nights we were there. Cozy and comfortable cabin. The mattress felt high quality not like the flimsy thin types I’ve seen in other cabins. Eddie and Tina were responsive when we needed them. I would stay here again next time we visit Maine.

Fiddlehead Cabin is so cozy and comfortable. I stayed there with my dog and it honestly couldn't have been more lovely. Toddy Pond is right there with kayaks and canoes. There's a private fire pit for your own use--you do need to bring your own firewood but that's easy enough. Plenty of places to pick up a cord of wood up there. The gas grille is also convenient as well even though I didn't use it. The king sized bed is very comfortable and there's a twin bunk bed that i didn't use. It's 15 minutes into Ellsworth center which has some great restaurants. Finn's Irish Pub is my recommendation and I've been there a number of times, never having been disappointed! Eddie was also very responsive and helpful. I'll happily stay at Fiddlehead Cabin again.

Find us

You'll want a car to explore any surrounding areas, but you also would have all you need to enjoy a week right at the cabin. This area of Maine does not have consistent rideshare service. If you need help with coordinating transportation, let me know ahead of time. This cabin will be permitted to have two cars parked on site.
