We enjoyed our stay here so much. Our stay here has set the standard for all our future trips. It was beautiful, clean and so cozy. We loved being able to stay in one night and cook in the fully stocked kitchen with the door open to a gorgeous view of the lake. Starting our mornings with coffee on the screened in porch and ending our evenings by the firepit was just perfect. The drive to Acadia was not bad at all and it’s such a pretty drive you won’t even look at the time. The location was worth it all around. There are plenty of restaurants and lobster shacks not far. We did not want to leave! Will absolutely consider coming back to this part of Maine just for this experience!

I have no idea how someone could make a tiny cabin so cozy and functionable but Eddie did that and exceeded my expectations. The Buoy cabin is in a great location to sit and be mesmerized by the lake. He has such a great little camp complex complete with a grill, picnic table, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, kayaks…the quintessential Maine getaway! We drove to Ellsworth for a fabulous dinner and enjoyed roasting marshmallows and unwinding after a full day of hiking in Acadia. This is such a lovely little place to stay and the bed was more comfortable than the bed and breakfast we stayed the night before! I highly recommend this to anyone looking to unplug from the world for a few days. Eddie and his crew are phenomenal hosts!

Cutie little place to stay for Acadia. About a 50 minute drive, nothing not doable! The kayaks are a nice touch, Toddy Pond has super clean water and it’s so calm :)

Absolutely amazing! From the views to the cleanliness. We had everything we needed, the cabin was so cute and cozy! It even had AC if someone needs it on hot summer days. For the view, incredible! Right on the water! Eddie is also awesome, responsive right away if you need anything and is really accommodating! When we come back to Maine, we’re staying back here!! Thank you so much Eddie!
